We are seeking a Social Media expert to work for a leading brand name in their market.
Our client provides various services to a specified age group, including travel and finance products, as well as a new social network. They have moved from strength to strength with an annual turnover now exceeding £215million and wish to continue driving their brand and offerings forward.
Your role as Social Media Manager will be two-fold:
Firstly, you will be responsible for managing the company’s own Social Network, increasing users and engagement between customers. You will also manage functional changes, as well as the hosting team.
Secondly, you will manage the social media strategy across the rest of the business, to help promote the company’s services and increase customer acquisition/retention rates. This may be specific campaigns on Facebook and Twitter, or investigating a new social channel which may benefit the business.
The successful candidate will have a thorough understanding of Social Media and be aware of how to monetise it (Social Commerce). You will need to understand general online marketing – SEO, PPC, Display, Affiliates etc. You will also have a good understanding of web analytics and how to utilise the data to make web improvements. Ultimately, you must be able to educate and speak credibly about Social Media and demonstrate its benefits in a commercial environment.
