We have an exciting new role working in the e-commerce division of this consumer and business electronics company. With a turnover that exceeds 4 billion and trades in over 170 counties, this is a great opportunity to join a truly global operator.

As the business continues to invest in e-commerce, we are looking for an SEO Specialist to join the team.

This role is responsible for monitoring overall search engine performance for SEM (Search Engine Management) campaigns. This person will work with the Search Lead and E-Business Manager to implement search strategies and track the effectiveness of new and existing campaigns. Essentially, the SEO Specialist is responsible for enhancing online revenue opportunities and increase awareness of the Insight websites.

Responsibilities include:

- Manage, develop and market the affiliate marketing and shopping channels. – Monitor affiliate activity, analyse performance, identify areas of improvement, and recommend ways to increase affiliate-generated revenues. – Initiate new campaign ideas, incentives, and bonus offers. – Deployment of affiliate communications such as newsletters, blog posts, social networking, offers, affiliate payments, and dispute resolution. – Oversee the distribution of marketing tools and sales creative to affiliates, and work closely with the Account Managers to build and expand the affiliate programs. – Contact affiliates, merchants and networks to establish co-marketing relationships, and proactively manage these relationships on an ongoing basis. – Develop annual affiliate and social media campaign calendars and rollout plans – Build and develop the EMEA social media strategy and communities. – Research, create and support on compelling and inspiring content for our blog and website, and generate conversations and respond to any queries on our social networks. – Monitoring trends in social media, strategising across the company on incorporating social media techniques and measuring the impact of social media. – Discuss and agree with E-Business Manager on projects, planning, task prioritisation and deadlines alongside all other scheduled activity. – Delivering on time planned and effective e-marketing activities across a defined set of objectives.

We are looking for candidates with a good understanding of search and affiliate marketing and how SEO can tie into social media. This is a busy role, so you should be a hard working individual, happy to roll your sleeves up and make change happen! You will have excellent communication skills and be highly analytical, able to draw insights from campaigns to suggest how to further improve sales and traffic.
