Our client is a leading retail group representing some of the most popular, developing and respected brands within food retail – Supermarkets, Hypermarkets, Convenience stores and Malls.
They are currently looking for an experienced Private Label Manager for their expanding team in Riyadh. This role is open to all nationalities that have strong experience in Food Retail.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
• Lead development of own brand product categories across all markets
• Monitoring and reviewing brand activity performance liaising with suppliers, agency and commercial teams on a daily basis
• Based on customer/ market/ retail brand requirements and through an understanding of the commercial teams business priorities, this position will develop new brand concepts or add existing brands
• The development of appropriate products and packaging meeting customer needs by benchmarking, customer trials and feedback
• Lead the implementation and marketing/ promotion for the own Label brands at launch and on-going via appropriate marketing including endorsement, in-store promotion/ sampling merchandising, staff training, PR etc
• Ensure that own brand product ranges are harmonised and group sourcing is utilised where appropriate
• Promote own brand ranges across the group
• Build solid relationships with own brand owners
• Be the first to pick up on market trends.
ESSENTIAL REQUIREMENTS
• 10 years experience in a similar area
• At least 3 years in a Management/ Supervisory role
• Strong experience in setting and marketing trademarks
• Experience within sales, purchasing, supply chain, negotiations, import and export of food stuff, distribution, marketing, communication and negotiation
• A dynamic personality with a desire to succeed
• Experience in Saudi Arabia or the Middle East very welcome
SALARY
• Salary package will depend on experience levels and interview performance and should be used as a guide ONLY
