at FMCG in Saudi Arabia

Our client is a leading company specializing in Retail across Saudi Arabia. They have a very strong reputation within supermarkets, hypermarkets and food grocery retail. They are currently expanding across the GCC region with new launches planned across various countries in prime locations.

We are looking for an experienced Factory/ Plant/ Production Manager to manage the production plant in Riyadh.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

• Manage the production plant to the highest standards of efficiency, quality control, and safety
• Food processing, grocery packing, pre-packing of meat, fresh food and others
• Actively manage daily production
• Maximize production output and minimize wastage
• Control product cost, and monitor plant operation financial performance
• Ensure efficient dispatch of ordered products
• Ensure efficient procedures and good relations between production and retail
• Initiate and coordinate training on product knowledge, food and ingredient handling, hygiene and safety standards, and technical understanding
• Develop new products and ensures effective sales planning, and implementation of promotions and seasonal activities

ESSENTIAL REQUIREMENTS

• 10 years food production management/ food processing experience
• At least 3 years experience in food processing for supermarkets
• Should have experience and knowledge in meat and fresh food processing, grocery packing and pre packing etc
• Experience in the MENA/ Gulf region is a plus
• Fluent English required
• Arabic nationals very welcome to apply, but not essential
