Passionate and Creative Cafe Chef required
at Highbury Cafe in Highbury
We are looking for a passionate and creative chef to join our team.
Our current menu is based mainly on sandwiches, salads and soups using quality ingredients from our epicerie fine. We are looking for someone to work independently to produce seasonal salads, savoury tarts and innovative daily specials. We have a very popular weekend brunch, with eggs as the main focus. In addition we are looking for someone who also has a passion for baking.
Experience of stock control, ordering, and all aspects of kitchen health and safety is essential as is a minimum of 1 year experience in a good quality establishment using fresh produce.
The café is a 7 day operation open between 8am and 7pm. No evenings! This full time role is for 5 shifts per week (45 hours approx).
