Our firm develops creative solutions designed to advance a broad range of causes.
We collaborate with clients to develop positioning, integrated marketing plans, and print
and electronic communications that project a distinct and compelling identity.
We are currently hiring for the following position:
PRINT DESIGN AND PRODUCTION MANAGER
General responsibilities include:
Supervising the flow and production of all print-related projects, including print layout, photo supervision, print buying and production and pre-press management.
Specific Responsibilities include:
• Assisting creative director on all print-related projects
• Maintaining communication with outside designers
• Writing photo scripts
• Art directing and supervising photo shoots
• Maintaining photo archives
• Writing printing specification and managing the print bid process
• Ensuring quality control during production of print-related projects
• Maintaining communication with all printing vendors
• Sourcing new materials for print related projects
• Preparing print files for press
• Reviewing printer’s proofs
• Supervising press O.K.s
• Assisting the VP of Sales in creating visually impressive sales presentations
• Managing the firms printed samples archive
Qualifications:
• Three to five years experience managing the production of printed publications
• High degree of competence with Adobe Creative Suite is required
• Strong written and verbal communication skills
• Ability to work quickly and creatively, meet deadlines, and simultaneously supervise multiple projects with outside vendors
• Demonstrated ability to prioritize multiple tasks and manage time efficiently
• Ability to work independently but also be a strong team player
