A great opportunity to join West Wales largest letting agency at it’s head office in St Clears as Senior Tenancy Manager
The Tenancy Management Team offers assistance to hundreds of The Home Rental Company’s tenants and landlords who have rented their properties through one of our offices. Once a contract has been signed by both parties our Tenancy Managers take over to ensure that excellent customer service is upheld. We want to make sure that each tenancy runs smoothly from start to finish; we organise work to be undertaken before a tenant moves in on behalf of the landlord; we answer questions concerning the contract or explain processes such as extending a contract; we offer guidance on property law or refer landlords to alternative sources for further information. Final decisions often rest with landlords so mediating between the tenant and landlord is a major part of the role. As well as offering excellent service, our Tenancy Managers ensure that all the necessary paperwork is in place and maintain all the relevant records throughout the length of tenancy.
Our Tenancy Managers are a voice at the end of the telephone for landlords and tenants who need to speak with The Home Rental Company so it is vital to enjoy communicating with a wide range of people. You will need a sense of urgency to respond to queries and resolve problems as quickly as possible. Organisational skills are essential to balance the demands on your time and manage the administrative elements of the role.
You will be trained on all aspects of the property industry, so experience is not a pre-requisite. As well as comprehensive tuition and guidance, you will have on the job training in order to give you hands on experience from the beginning.
Main duties: leading the tenancy management team, ensuring that excellent customer service is provided to both landlords and tenants, carrying out property inspections and drafting reports, liaising with landlords, tenants and contractors, managing works at properties, implementing company procedures and policies. Working Saturday mornings on a rota.
The ideal candidate will come from a property related background, preferably with a proven track record in the lettings industry. The key skills: excellent telephone mannner, strong time management skills, ability to problem solve, professional approach to customer services, to prioritise work within an a effective team environment. Car owner with full clean driving licence, minor points considered.
