I am a graduate Engineer and looking for a graduate trainee vacancy. I would like to work in a team as a mechanical designer such as mould and mechanical part designer, or manufacturing and process engineer. My main attributes are; determined and strong-willed, self motivated character, responsible, dynamic and open minded. However, I am lacking of experience in engineering field but I strongly believe that I will overcome that drawback in a very short time since I have all the necessary education background.
I would like to be considered for the position of (Job Role), as I believe I possess the appropriate (Skill Set) skills. I have started technical drawing (2D/3D) when I was in technical and vocational high school. During my undergraduate degree I was taught several CAD packages as well as CAM. Every term, during high school and university degree I had a workshop class once a week and working on a project. Therefore, I have plenty of practical knowledge with industrial tools and testing equipment. After my undergraduate degree I came to the UK to achieve a master degree in polymer engineering to enhance my job prospects as well as a path in my future career. I am looking an opportunity to prove myself how dedicated I am to become an engineer and bring out all my skills. I strongly feel that I would be able to make a positive contribution to the results of your company.
Below, i have listed my main skills ;
• Knowledge of 2D/3D-model drawings for the use in production and manufacturing.
• Moldflow and Photoelasticity analyze.
• Practical knowledge of test methods for determining the Mechanical Properties and characterization of polymer.
• Knowledge of manufacturing Techniques.
• Practical knowledge of Machining : Milling, Lathe , Grinding, Plastic injection moulding, Extrusion moulding, Compression moulding, CNC programming, Welding, Basic hand tools.
• Microsoft office Package; Word , Excel, PowerPoint.
