Assistant Store General Manager
at Ana Cookwork in Kuwait
The Role:
We are looking for an Assistant Store General Manager to manage 4 restaurants within Dean & Deluca, 300+ covers and 90+ staff.
The ideal candidate will have experience in managing large restaurants and working in a fast paced environment. A hotel Food & Beverage Manager or Assistant Manager Background is ideal as well as a evidence of delivering high quality service. A passion for good food is essential.
Key Attributes:
• Solid restaurateur experience
• Able to work well in a high stress environment
• Previous 5 star hotel experience or considerable experience in a large or multi site restaurants
• Experienced in leading a team of restaurant managers
• Excellent English in writing, reading and speaking
• Excellent organizational skills are essential.
• Experience of working closely with Chefs to feedback suggestions
Key responsibilities:
• Ensure compliance with food and staff hygiene procedures.
• Feedback comments and suggestions about the food regularly to the Chef and Kitchen teams.
• Develop excellent communication and relationships between restaurant, kitchen, retail and head office teams.
• Ensure teamwork is priority in the workplace.
• Ensure highest possible standards of training and development in service quality and food product knowledge.
• Staffing: deploy right people at right place and right time to ensure staffing is reflective of a luxury environment
• Ensure restaurant staff are always appropriately dressed and offer professional and courteous service at all times.
• Produce plans to increase sales and profitability
• Implement & review all stock loss prevention controls & develop practices specific to the needs of store.
• Carry out all HR & Administrative duties.
• Ensure store is fully compliant administratively & procedurally according to Company / Market / Labour Law Guidelines/Policies.
• Ensure that the store and restaurants are clean & tidy, fully stocked, replenished with all stock regularly rotated.
• Ensure that standards for quality, customer service, Health & Safety & Food Hygiene are met & maintain a safe working environment
Salary Banding:
KD 1800 – KD 2200
