Our client is a well respected global consulting engineer offering services in Power, Water, Oil & Gas & Renewables. They are seeking a Site Manager for a Combined Cycle Power Plant in Turkey.
ROLE
You will represent the Owner's engineer for all aspects of site management
You will manage the site team
Lead site meetings
Manage the implementation of the contract obligations by contractors
Monitor the contractors' activities and report on progress
Take responsibility for Health, Safety & Environmental measures
Liaise with the project owners' site team
Keep an updated archive of project documentation
Produce regular reports and records for future claims
EXPERIENCE
You will have relevant experience managing site activities on a thermal power plant project
You will have a degree in Mechanical Engineering
You will be able to prepare site reports and have experience of doing so
You will be proficient in MS office
Fluent English is essential, a knowledge of Turkish would be an advantage
Experience in design or manufacture of power plant components
