The Company:

My client is a well established Recruitment agency specialising in the placing of senior IT professionals into the banking community. Working closely with the pinnacle of the Investment Banking community (Goldman Sachs, Credit Suisse, RBS, JP Morgan etc), this position is perfect for someone looking to get exposure to the hustle and bustle of the City of London.

Working towards placing senior professionals my client chooses headhunting as its chosen method to attract the very best talent in the market place. This means each consultant will become very niche and an expert in their own specific vertical market.
With offices based globally, this forward thinking and dynamic recruitment firm can offer exceptional career progression on a varied scale. In order to maintain their high standards and ensure they have the very best consultants in the market place, my client ensures they provide on- going comprehensive training.

The Role:

You will be essentially responsible for building up your own desk, much similar to your own business. You will need to win business although my client is on 32 (PSL's) Preferred Suppliers' Lists in the City meaning 100's of vacancies are there to be filled on an ongoing basis. You will target specific candidates and use headhunting techniques to attract them and then match them to the right job. You will be rewarded financially for very deal you make.

The role is fast paced, dynamic and the chase and closing of deals can be extremely exciting. This is not a 9-5 job and consultants are expected to apply themselves to the job in order to make sure they are successful.

The 'Successful' Candidate:

The perfect candidate will be a high calibre graduate with the hunger and determination to succeed in a very competitive market place. Candidates should have a 1st or 2:1 classification from a red brick university and be able to communicate at the highest of levels. The right candidate will be motivated, confident, persuasive and most importantly be very determined and extremely money motivated!

Will you be the City's next high flying IT Banking Headhunter????
