Independent Financial Advisor
at TJC in Hertfordshire
Due to continued growth our client is looking to expand there successful Independent Financial advisory team and are offering a fantastic starting salary of £38,000. You will be required to travel to all branches around the country but primarily will be dealing with four or five branches on a regular basis in the Hertfordshire area.
You will be responsible for generating your own leads, so somebody with proven ability to do so in previous roles is essential. Somebody who can bring there own leads and contacts to this role is highly desirable.
The purpose of the Independent Financial adviser is to:
Provide independent financial advice primarily to the customers of the society, fulfilling complex needs of the customers, choosing from the whole of the market place and by understanding customer’s financial goals and attitude to risk, recommending the most suitable products to meet their financial needs
Work closely with and build relationships with the Branches and other nominated introducer’s and to provide support, guidance and coaching to achieve sales and activity targets.

*Competent use of Standard IT applications
*Demonstration of strong communication skills
*Ability to influence and build strong relationships
*Ability to make high quality presentations
*Excellent client relationship skills
*In depth technical knowledge of investments tax planning
Knowledge
*Detailed knowledge of financial products approved by SIFAS
*Detailed knowledge of the SIFAS E“E sales process
*Understanding/knowledge of responsibilities to comply with FSA regulation
*A proven track record within financial services
*Knowledge of Life assurance, pensions and investment industry
*Understanding of current UK tax system.
*Ability to understand and communicate customer attitude to risk
*Minimum 3 years industry experience
*Willingness to study towards AFPC
Experience and Qualifications
*FPC or recognised industry equivalent
*Satisfy the FSA criteria for an approved person
*Demonstrate and maintain own CPD
*Achieve and retain CAS status.
