A leading national Building Contractor are now recruiting for an experienced Construction Project Manager to work on various projects within the Greater London area.
Successful applicants will be working on a number on new build and refurbishment projects up to a value of £15m, within a variety of sectors including industrial, commercial, retail, education and healthcare.
On a daily basis, you will be required to carry out the following duties:
* Management of all aspects of the project from conception to completion * Attending all design meetings with client, architect * Assisting in the selection and management of specialist subcontractors * Programming of project, ensuring that it is running on schedule * Liaising with commercial staff to ensure project is being delivered within budget * Assisting in the procurement of materials * Method statements and Risk Assessments * All Health and Safety Compliance * Management of staff and subcontractorsAll applicants must demonstrate the following skills and experience:
* Proven track record at a management level in the construction industry * Experience of running projects up to £15m in value * Wide variety of project experience * Must have worked for a large Top 5 contractor – no specialist subcontractors will be considered * Continuity of employment – no freelancers will be interviewed. * Client facing – applicants must have experience of working in a client facing role * Confident, articulate, with a good all round building knowledge * Relevant qualifications would be advantageous * Applicants must live in the North/North West London areaIn addition to a generous salary in line with experience, this client are also offering the following benefits
