Digital Designer
at Mind The Ad in Covent Garden
Our new advertising agency based in Covent Garden is looking for an enthusiastic Digital Designer to join us. As an integrated agency, we are investing in our digital offering due to an increase in demand for web-based projects.
Duties: Main duties will include visualizing, designing and conceptualizing web layouts and turning them into interactive websites. In addition to that you'll be expected to create visual prototypes and presentations for pitches and sponsors. You'll also be producing online advertisements, newsletters and micro sites for our range of clients.
Requirements:
-A strong understanding of typography, color theory, design layout and interface design and how all of that translates to the digital space
-A good knowledge of web standards, interactive design best practices and user-centered design
-Experience of visualizing concepts to demonstrate ideas
-Having strong communication skills (knowledge of Turkish language is advantageous but not essential)
-Being organized, professional, motivated, able to work quickly and follow detailed instructions from the managing and creative directors.
-Passion for design and interest in the latest technologies & developments in the Advertising and Digital world
-Ability to multitask and work efficiently under pressure with careful attention to detail
Technical Skills:
-Proficiency in the latest version of Adobe Creative Suite (Flash, Dreamweaver, Photoshop, Illustrator)
-Knowledge of After Effects or Final Cut Pro is advantageous
-A solid working knowledge of AS3, HTML, XHTML, CSS, XML and Javascript
-Experience in designing for Wordpress
Hours: 9.30am-6pm Monday to Friday
Salary: from £22.000 (depending on experience)
