Our client a leading telecoms business, is currently seeking a high calibre finance professional challenge and support one of the Managing Directors, you will be responsible for driving outstanding business efficiency/performance
This role requires somebody who is capable of thinking outside the box and creating value through commercial analysis that delivers clear insight into the underlying performance. You will also have the credibility to effectively work with the CEO, CFO and MD.
Key responsibilities in this role will include:
Provide strategic direction and financial leadership as an integral part of a business unit team
Provide financial leadership of strategic programmes
Creates clarity of roles and responsibilities of people in the team
Lead the budgetary and Financial Control activities of a significant financial area
Robust operational and financial planning, managing annual cycle and medium term plan
To be successful in this role, you will ideally need to be a qualified accountant with strong commercial insight and highly developed analytical skills. You will have the ability to work independently and have the ability to understand complex problems, propose and recommend options
