Head of Finance

Salary:
£60,000 to £70,000 per annum
A FTSE 100 business has an opportunity for a Head of Finance for a newly acquired business to the group. The business has ambitious growth plans over the coming years.
This role is a key financial position within the management team overseeing the financial processes and providing strategic and commercial input to the company. The role will head up a local finance team of 4 people.
This role will drive and develop the commercial insight into the business by understanding and communicating key drivers of profitability and adequate monitoring to manage business performance. Business partnering across various teams is also a key element of the role. Key Responsibilities include - Ensuring robust financial controls are in place, understanding the technical accounting for each business activity to ensure P&L and balance sheet accurately reflect financial results.
Reconciling accounts and improvement of accounting and reporting processes. Producing accurate forecasts and oversee the month end process. Act as the finance business partner to the MD. Support and challenge the business to improve performance.
To apply you should be ACA/ACCA or CIMA qualified and be highly ambitious and motivated. Strong interpersonal skills with all round experience in Month end processes, financial forecasting and balance sheet management.
