£7,000 to £60,000 per annum

Competitive basic 15-30% bonus 5-6K car allowance Pension

Our client is a FTSE 100 property company who manage over 30 million square foot of property UK wide. They have a current requirement for a strong inspirational Finance Manager within their property management team.

The role will be managing a team of 10 property management accountants who are either qualified or at finalist level so the successful applicant will be ACCA, ACA or CIMA qualified. This is an exciting opportunity for an individual to join a growing, successful company who pride themselves on offering an excellent in house accounting service.

The day to day duties will be: • Managing and motivating a team of 10 – including setting KPI’s • Driving improvements across the service charge budgeting process ensuring costs are kept in line with corporate targets.
• Monitor performance of individual assets across the portfolio
• Work closely with the Operations team and provide detailed variance analysis on: net service charge, bade debts, non recoverable costs and income and expenditure
• Attend site visits/deal with escalated tenant issues
• Sign off service charge models
• Ensure all service charge costs and incomes are correctly accounted for including deferrals, prepayments and accruals.
• Manage audit process
• Ensure that acquisitions and disposals are correctly accounted for
• Review and sign off completions statements
• Undertake ad-hoc projects Due to the specialist nature of this role, only candidates with property experience can be considered.
