A large international Media, Entertainment and Leisure company immediately require and Interim Head of Finance. Based in their fantastic UK Head Office, this is an exceptional opportunity for an experienced ACA professional to join a thriving, successful and highly challenging and demanding Media company in a hands-on Head of Finance role.
This Head of Finance role is immediately available and it will have responsibility for the Management Reporting and Financial Reporting teams. Working closely with both teams as well as the Finance Director, this role has a wide remit in terms of strategic direction and financial reporting.
Your role will be to provide hands-on management of the Finance team and of month-end, quarter-end and year-end statutory reporting but also to be involved in areas such as acquisitions and disposals, strategic planning, risk management and tax and treasury.
This is a very hands-on role and our client is looking for an ACA Qualified professional, with a preference to someone from a Big 4 background, who qualified with first-time passes. You will have worked within an international company, ideally in Media, Retail or Leisure, with a turnover of at least £100million.
This role requires the Head of Finance to be involved at a strategic level but also involved in, and happy to work at, a ‘grass-roots, hands-on level too and so your experiences should show a comprehensive progression through Finance from junior to senior level. You must also have proven staff management experience of managing a team of Qualified accountants and have strong Excel and Microsoft Office skills.
